We got into the new house yesterday, Sunday, and I have made the arrangements for our household goods to be delivered on the 15th. Won't have net at the new residence until the 20th. Khornesone is not going to be happy when I tell him that the wireless modem won't be getting installed, that we have to wait until after the internet land line is in place first. Then we call them and the ship the modem to us.



That sales clerk was wanting, badly, to get me to upgrade to something beyond basic service. I said. "I have two teenagers that need to focus on school and studies." He said "it's the summer, don't you want to reward them?" I said "of course I do, that is why I will buy them a book or take them to the pool." Want to know what he said next??? " I have been a good boy and all my homework is done, can I come to the pool too?" I laughed and told him he was on his own cause he was a big boy now.



Have the appointment for the boy to get enrolled in school on the 19th. 2orking on getting Wolfbites taken care of.



Have to do some shopping for incidentals for the house...like a curtain rod/valance system for the living room. Two smaller ones for th Master bedroom. Little things like that.



Next on my to do list today however is finish laundry and get back to the house to get the paper work we need for the post office and wolfbites enrollment stuff.

We have arrived back in Maryland.



Having mixed feelings.



I had forgotten how rude and snobish people around here can be. Maybe I had hoped that people had grown up, my mistake. Seems they have just gotten worse.



House hunting has started.

We got lucky on that aspect. Housing got us into a house on this past Sunday the 11th. I firmly belive they only moved as quickly as they did because of the fact that we where looking off base for housing. Lol

Congrats on making it safely and finding a place so quickly. Perhaps if you guys are still residing in MD when we finally get to move out east (My fiance is from MD originally and would like to move back eventually)... We can meet.

We are in Maryland and checked into our hotel.

We start house hunting tomorrow.

It's been a fun visit but in the morning we head to Illinois.



Pukey and barfy will not miss the rolling hills and curvy roads.

Poor kittens...

So we spent the night in Lincoln Nebraska last night. The time zone changes are not sitting with us yet, we are still on west coast time. Lol



We are on the road again, estimate 7 hours of driving today, heading to see friends in Missouri.
